The Ella Besaw facility provides a warm and welcoming environment designed to feel as home-like as possible. The newly constructed elderly care facility has expanded to 24 units, including 2 hospice rooms. Rockwise served as the Owner’s Representative for this project, working with the Stockbridge-Munsee Community. The project spans 19,541 square feet and includes two double-occupancy rooms. The facility features a spacious covered main entry with in-ground heating for added comfort. Additionally, the walls have been reinforced to function as a tornado shelter, providing extra safety for residents.
As Owner’s Representative, our services included:
Overseeing construction for the design/build contractor.
Monitoring budget and construction schedule.
Leading coordination of FF&E procurement and work.
Change order and pay request approval.
Providing updates of progress photos.
QA/QC logs.
Assisting owner with decisions on building systems and finishes.
