Expanding heartfelt community gathering spaces
In honor of fallen firefighter Mitchell Lundgaard, this thoughtfully designed park serves as a lasting tribute to his legacy and a place of connection and healing for the Appleton community. Rockwise supported this meaningful project by providing comprehensive cost consulting services to ISG, from pre-design through schematic design. Close collaboration with the Lundgaard family shaped the design process, ensuring each feature reflected both purpose and remembrance.
The park includes a fire station–themed playground, a community pavilion, sports courts, a fitness trail, and a reforestation area — all grounded in a vision of resilience, remembrance, and renewal.
